Federation de la Haute Couture Appoints Saudi Influencer As Regional Ambassador

congrats!

The governing body for the French fashion industry, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM), has just announced the appointment of Saudi influencer Nojoud Al-Rumaihi as their first Middle Eastern ambassador for Haute Couture.

In her new role, the fashion and luxury consultant will be expected to share all there is to know— from schedules to specific collections and upcoming events — about the forthcoming Haute Couture Fashion Week, which got underway today in the French capital.

“It is a profound honor to join the federation as an ambassador, marking a significant milestone in celebrating the pinnacle of fashion, couture. It is truly inspiring to have the opportunity to create content and share the latest updates with the Arab world,” Al-Rumaihi told Saudi daily newspaper Arab NewsMy goal is to create a vibrant bridge between the fashion scene of the Middle East and the international community,” she added.

With over half a million followers on her official Instagram account alone, Al-Rumaihi is by far one of the most prominent voices in the region, and more particularly in the Gulf. A recent Vogue Arabia cover star, her expertise in brand management— which she markets through her own advisory practice, Ci Consultancy— has firmly cemented her position as a key connector in the industry, bridging the gap between the Arab World and other international fashion hubs.

A regular fashion week attendee, we have no doubt that Al-Rumaihi’s recent nomination will help change perceptions of the region’s sartorial realm, pushing for more diversified representation on runways worldwide.
