5 Things to Know About Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2025 Menswear Show

le monde est à vous

On Tuesday night, Pharrell Williams presented his star-studded Spring 2025 Men’s collection for Louis Vuitton during Paris Fashion Week. Here is everything you need to know about the rapper-producer-designer’s third ready-to-wear collection for the storied house.

The show was held at the UNESCO Headquarters
Focusing on global unity- Williams decided to hold the Spring 2025 show at the UNESCO building, a minimalist sculpture conceived by Danish civil engineer Erik Reitzel in 1995. Originally constructed in Copenhagen, the spherical structure is flanked by the flags of the UNESCO nation, which fluttered in the wind as the diverse group of models stormed down the spherical runway of grass patterned in Vuitton’s signature Damier check wearing a kaleidoscope of tonal hues– black, brown, beige, white– as an homage to human beings.

The collection featured a collaboration with Air Afrique
The African-French cultural platform dedicated to the expansion of Afro-diasporic arts, conversations, and knowledge was responsible for some of the graphics and patterns in the collection. Meanwhile, the blue, green, and black check was based on a pattern used in luggage created for the pan-continental airline that operated from the 1960s until 2002 that inspired the collective of creatives who worked alongside Williams in this collection.

Clipse debuted a new song
The rap duo Clipse, which is made up of Pusha T and his brother No Malice, came back together after 13-years and premiered a new track, Birds Don’t Sing, featuring John Legend live during the show, leaving fans wondering if there is a new Clipse album in the works.

There was a nod to football
Coinciding with the Euros, currently underway, Williams paid homage to the “beautiful game” with soccer ball-inspired leather bags and Louis Vuitton football jerseys.

A-listers came out in full force
Much like for Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton debut last June, anyone who is anyone was spotted FROW at Tuesday’s show. Afrobeat artists Burna Boy, Rema, and Wiz Kid, and rappers Central Cee, Stormzy, and Swae Lee were in attendance alongside the likes of Espresso hitmaker Sabrina Carpenter and Spanish crooner Maluma.
